In Japan, a lovey-dovey umbrella -- in other words, an umbrella shared by two people -- is a sign the pair care for each other, though they may not be so bold as to say so. This top is more than just a pair of slightly embarrassed lovers, though. Be prepared for a small surprise when the top stops spinning! HAND MADE IN JAPAN

The ingeniously talented craftsman who creates this traditional spinning top -- without any help from a blueprint -- is Masaaki Hiroi. Find out more about Masaaki Hiroi here.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Masaaki Hiroi.

General Information
Material:Wood
Size:Width 125mm x Height 160mm
Weight:360g
Production time:●Maximum 3 months
Proper handling:● The dyes are not colorfast, so colors may fade if brought into contact with water. ● The internal mechanisms are very delicate. The top should be handled carefully at all times. ● Do not bend the wires.
How to use:1. Place the umbrella on the stick at the center; then spin the umbrella, but VERY SLOWLY. 2. When the top stops spinning, a tiny ghost will appear. But the ghost will NOT ALWAYS appear! It all depends on how the umbrella falls down, and that's the fun part of this top. Do not bend the wires to adjust it in anyway.
